was the result of due diligence and listening to Oliver community concerns..
Bellstar's due diligence confirmed the location unsuitable for sustainable phase
development and that the Oliver community is in favour of such a project,
but not on that site, (Centennial Park).
(Centennial Park) continues to be marked for Wine Village development.

The Oliver Chronicle editor opines that there needs to be a public outcry
with the support of local politicians
to rectify the boding inability to exclusively retail Oliver's winery
VQA wines in Canada's wine capital.
Oliver FairView Chronicles opines that self-awarded titles soon
prove to be as meaningful as bought respect and lobbying the VQA
or parent corp. (if there was one)
would be as effective as writing a letter to the editor.
The telling of this tragedy has naught to do with blame
cause keeping secret this tale here would be a greater shame
than telling how the best-laid plans of vice and men with wine
without accountability can bring about such crime.
That private type societies have long been doing good
is not a revelation and long been understood.

the destiny of those knowing and condoning, is becoming a clown.
Since we failed every way to glean your collective attentions
the filing of suit was last resort to document ODCEDS' contraventions.
So now that ODCEDS' s dead and gone why would anyone still bother
because, even though the scapegoat be, it wasn't just Les Lawther.
The engineer, his Mayor, Conceder Jake as well, were knees & elbows deep,
and since still he runs the show, we pray to God our souls to keep.
We give our prayers a helping hand by fighting foes of truth unarmed
with only truth intent and pen in hand political prevaricators be alarmed.
We've been where truth as evidence will ne'er see light of day
and we survived unscathed and unrepentant and still irreverent some say.
Our objective is culling the betrayers and butchers of our Public Trust
without fear of the labyrinth and billable hours which seem to be a must
We're glad to say we've found our way, to the court highest in our Dominion
where politico liars fear to tread cause it's the Court of Public Opinion
